Abraham Mallegom was als pijpenmaker werkzaam te Gouda. In 1714 legde hij zijn gildeproef af, waarna hij tot 1749 als zelfstandig pijpenmaker actief was. Na zijn overlijden zette zijn weduwe de productie nog korte tijd voort, in 1750. Zij maakte daarbij gebruik van het merk ‘Uil op de krik’.

Abraham Mallegom was a tobacco-pipe maker working in Gouda. In 1714, he passed his guild examination and subsequently worked as an independent pipe maker until 1749. Following his death, his widow continued the production for a short period in 1750. She used the mark ‘Owl on the crutch’.
