Willem Jorisz. Metfoort 1705 - 1721
Willem Jorisz. Metfoort was als pijpenmaker werkzaam te Gouda. In 1705 legde hij zijn gildeproef af. Hij was actief als pijpenmaker van 1705 tot en met 1721. Gedurende deze periode voerde hij twee verschillende merken: VW gekroond, gebruikt in de periode 1705–1707, en Sabel gekroond, dat hij van 1707 tot en met 1721 toepaste.
Willem Jorisz. Metfoort, a tobacco-pipe maker in Gouda. He passed his guild examination in 1705 and was active as a pipe maker from 1705 through 1721. During this period, he used two successive marks: crowned VW (1705–1707) and crowned Sabre (1707–1721).
